In an age where apparent artificial intelligence can generate images in seconds, where "art", "music" and "movement" can be produced by stringing together random elements with no deeper meaning, often thieving from the inspiration, heartbreak, love and lore of others, we risk ourselves being pushed into a world of meaninglessness and allowing the very colour of joy to drain into the beige blend of nothingness. Or we can be part of a revolution to re-engage storytelling and live art with open hearts and minds.
This is not aimed to judge content or the use of content. But we believe that every time we choose to engage, use and re-use content, we miss engaging with the human endeavour, with, as the famous artist and comediam Tim Minchin would say, "intention, jeopardy, risk, sweat, messiness, virtuosity, proximity, collectivity, and empathy."
